I used to use a sulfur soap that cleared my skin to flawless. It was made by stiefel (spelling?) labs. They discontinued it (I guess cause it was working) and now I'm trying to find something similar with the same ingredients. I know 2 were salicylic (spelling?) acid and sulfur. I heard of SAL3 has anybody used it? I want to try but afraid of wasting my money on another hope. I have been using black soap and the ambi complexion bar. (Black soap keep bumps away but also burns my skin. Haven't noticed a thing with the AMBI. Been using it for about a month now.

I use AcneFree. It is not a sulfur product, but it works really well for my acne prone skin. It can be a little more time consuming, as it has three steps, like Proactive. It actually works better than Proactive (for me) and is half the price. It can be found at any Target, Walmart, etc.

Proactive has a fantastic sulfur mask that also works wonders as a spot treatment. It's a little pricey though, I think close to $20.

Actually I use Black Opal - they have a combo pack with a face wash, toner and skin cream and it works really well for me. Black Opal Maximum Strength Acne System (http://www.blackopalbeauty.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=1178&category_id=16&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=26)
