I've had great results with Keratine treatment on my hair. It was recommended that I use sulfate-free shampoo. So far, I have only seen L'oreal shampoo that advertises it as "sulfate-free" are there any others?

In order to preserve the keratin treatment in your hair, you need a sulfate free shampoo. It will allow the treatment to last for 3 months or more, and is generally a healthier product for your hair. Try either the Pureology or Enjoy products. They can be purchased through a professional salon, and are worth the investment. The Pureology Shampoo is concentrated and has 80 shampoos in each bottle! Both have vegan, sulfate free shampoos that are compatible with any hair type or service. As a hairdresser, I use them both professionally and personally, and LOVE them!

I'm not sure of any "sulfate-free" shampoos but if all else fails you can purchase Dr Bronner's Castille Soap. Just dilute it in a bit of water if its too thick and use to wash your hair!! It works for me.

I use Shea Moisture's shampoos. They are all sulfate-free and use a cane sugar-derived cleanser that foams well without stripping my hair.

You can find them at Target or Walgreen's.

Kenra has a shampoo for color treated hair that is sulfate free. Also Coppola has a shampoo, conditioner line specifically for keratin treatments.
